The annual Khel Mahakumbh, organized by the Government of Gujarat, was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of the State with great enthusiasm at the ABC University Sports Enclave today.

The ceremony commenced with a vibrant cultural program showcasing the rich heritage of Gujarat. dances, captivating instrumental performances, and energetic martial arts demonstrations captivated the audience. Dignitaries, including Minister of Youth, Sports & Cultural Activities, Vice Chancellor of University, famous sportspersons such as Manu Bhakar, Bhavina Patel, Aman Sehrawat and many other graced the occasion, emphasizing the significance of sports in fostering physical and mental well-being, cultivating teamwork, and promoting discipline.

The highlight of the ceremony was the ceremonial torch lighting, followed by the oath-taking ceremony by the participating athletes. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as athletes from various colleges and universities across the state prepared to compete in a diverse range of sporting disciplines, including athletics, gymnastics, kho-kho, kabaddi, and many more.
