QUE: Prepare a statement informing the public about the e-Samaj Kalyan portal recently launched by the Gujarat Government to enable every citizen of the state to easily get various services at their doorstep.

“One Stop Solution for Government Services: E-Samaj Kalyan Portal”

The Gujarat government is committed to the all-round development of all sections of the state. In this, special efforts have been made for the development of women, children, farmers, disabled, and the underprivileged. In this regard, beneficiaries can apply online for various services. Also, to get information about the level at which the application is pending and to easily get various services at home, the e-Samaj Kalyan portal has been recently launched by the state’s Social Justice and Empowerment Department. • Applications can be made on the e-Samaj Kalyan portal for schemes like Kunwarbai’s Mamerun Yojana, Dr. Ambedkar Housing Yojana, Dr. Savitaben Ambedkar Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Yojana, Mai Ramabai Ambedkar Satfera Group Marriage Yojana, Loan for Commercial Pilot Training License etc. implemented by the Director Scheduled Caste Welfare Office.

• In addition, information and applications for the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Housing Scheme, Saat Phera Group Marriage Scheme, as well as the Divyang Marriage Assistance Scheme, Foster Parent Scheme, Bus Pass Scheme for Divyang Persons, Residential Facilities for Senior Citizens (Old Age Homes) etc., operated by the Directorate of Developing Caste Welfare Office, can be made on this portal.

• Open the browser for the e-Samaj Kalyan portal and type https://esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in/. After that, on the home screen of the e-Samaj Kalyan portal, click on the Please Register Here link and a form will open for registration. Fill in the required details and click on the Register button.
• After that a window will open with all your details, if the information is correct then click on the Confirm button. Finally User ID and Password will be sent to your mobile number via SMS.
• Documents required at the time of application:
• Aadhaar card, caste proof, residence proof, income proof, proof of date of birth, bank details.

• You can check the status of your application on the portal. PDF and video of the application guidelines are also available..

• For any scheme related information, the addresses and phone numbers of the District Deputy Director’s Office / District Social Welfare Officer’s Office / District Social Security Officer’s Office have been given.
