Inaugural Speech for the 7th Smart India Hackathon

Esteemed dignitaries, faculty, students, and innovators,

I am delighted to welcome you all to the 7th edition of the Smart India Hackathon, a testament to India’s burgeoning innovation ecosystem. It is particularly fitting that we host this event at the prestigious ISRO Bhavan, a symbol of India’s scientific prowess.

The world recognizes India’s strength lies in its youth and their innovative prowess and we pledge to equip our young minds with the necessary tools and resources to meet the country’s aspirations. For every challenge, India demands innovative approaches, and this hackathon exemplifies how the process of innovation is as crucial as the product itself.

This platform, a brainchild of our visionary Prime Minister, has consistently inspired young minds to address real-world challenges. It has emerged as a launchpad for groundbreaking ideas, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving. Many of the solutions from the hackathons held in the last seven years are proving to be highely beneficial for the people of the country today.

As we gather here today, I urge each participant to embrace the spirit of creativity and collaboration. Let us harness the power of technology to build a better future for our nation. Your innovative solutions can revolutionize sectors like healthcare, agriculture, education, and more.
